I have both a BS and MS in mathematics from Florida State University. I was a math professor at a small private university and a community college for a total of fifteen years. I also attended Seminole Community (State) College, and was the first Honors Award Graduate. My minor for my undergraduate degree was computer science.

An initial discussion is suggested, and the fee for this service will cover fuel costs or be completely free. If tutoring begins at this meeting, any fuel fee is waived unless one applies otherwise. ********************************************************************** I have been tutoring mathematics since my first year in college, 1984, in one form or another, whether as a private tutor, working in a tutoring lab, or helping my students. I found I enjoyed tutoring when I started doing so in 1984. Tutoring is something I still enjoy doing, and is, in fact, one of my preferred forms of earning income. I am a creative writer. Currently I am writing a novel. I have also written some poetry, short stories,and a few essays on selected topics. At some point, I hope to create a blog. I was the owner of a business prior to moving to TX, and hope to start up a new corporation with the assistance of others in the near future. Tutoring is but one aspect of the business. I use my mathematics to create digital artwork. Some of the art is used to decorate skateboards which are then sold. Other items are also created. I have helped form a number of organizations or clubs. One was a Toast Master's International group at my community college. Another was the Big Bend Self Help for Hard of Hearing while living in Tallahassee, FL. I have been involved with a number of other groups.
